Art Club for students in 4th-6th grades
Weekly on Wednesdays @ 6-7pm
Session begins Jan 8th & runs weekly through March 5th (No class Feb 5th). 8 classes total.
Make up classes will be added to the end of the session for any class cancelled due to instructor illness or weather related studio closures.
This season's projects will include two to three in-depth pieces, with the possibility for more, if time allows.
In art club, young artists in 4th-6th grade will learn about contemporary art and art history, plus focus heavily on the elements of art like color, line, pattern, texture, and shape while we work together to create some AMAZING art!
Sessions are limited so that each child can receive one-on-one attention to harness and grow their skills in art. This class is also open and encouraged to homeschool families looking to add fine arts into their curriculum.
Art is for EVERYONE! No "art skills" required, just an eagerness to participate and try new things. With increased fine motor skills and improved dexterity forming around these ages, we will begin more advanced artwork with our incoming 4th through 6th graders. Exceptions allowed for younger students who consistently create work in line with this level of instruction. All students will need to be able to work on multi week projects and not disrupt others. Please contact Tab@mcharpermanor.com with any questions.
This class includes all materials, and professional instruction. No art experience is necessary. Participants will receive an email with more information regarding drop off & pick up information prior to the start of class.
No "make-up classes" are available, as this is offered during a single class time per week. We will always work with your students and offer extra time/options to get them caught up due to any weeks missed.
**Minimum 6 registered seats must be booked to hold this session. 2 Instructors / assistants available at all times; student ratio no more than 7:1
Winter Art Club: 4th - 6th grade (8 weeks)
